Frequently Asked Questions

Which institutions is VayuJal Plus built for?

VayuJal Plus is built for sites with 10 to 50 members, such as small businesses, schools, clinics and housing complexes. It is rated at 165 litres a day, which is nearly four times the output of VayuJal Home.

How much water can one unit add to our sustainability report in a year?

At its rated output of 165 litres a day, one unit can make about 60,200 litres a year (165 × 365). Actual output depends on humidity and temperature, so report measured figures for CSR or ESG disclosures.

How do we plan the electricity load and running cost?

VayuJal Plus uses about 0.32 kWh per litre at 80% humidity and 0.33 kWh per litre at 70% humidity (30 °C). At its rated 165 litres a day that is about 53 kWh a day, or roughly ₹2 of electricity per litre at an example ₹6 per unit. It runs on a 230 V single-phase supply with a rated power of 2.2 kW, so most commercial connections can support it.

Can it replace tanker or packaged water at a school or small campus?

It can cover the drinking-water needs of 10 to 50 people from a single unit, with a 60-litre internal tank. It does not depend on a borewell, tanker or pipeline, so it suits sites where those supplies are unreliable. Its 7-stage purification includes an ozonizer, UV and a UF membrane. Sites with higher demand can move to VayuJal Ultra.

What should a procurement team ask us for when requesting a quote?

Have the number of users, the site’s average humidity and temperature, the available power supply and the installation location ready. VayuJal Plus measures 60 × 70 × 130 cm, weighs 170 kg and has a sound level below 65 dB, so site planning is simple. Our team uses these inputs to confirm sizing before issuing a quotation.

When should we choose VayuJal Ultra instead?

Choose VayuJal Ultra when the site needs more than Plus can deliver. Ultra is rated at 485 litres a day and runs on a 380 V three-phase supply, so check that the site has a three-phase connection.
