Frequently Asked Questions
Is VayuJal Home suitable for a small office or a small institutional site?
Yes. VayuJal Home is made for households and small offices with up to 10 members. It makes drinking water from the humidity in the air, so it needs no borewell, tanker or water pipeline.
How much water can we report from one unit in a year?
At its rated output of 43 litres a day, one unit can make about 15,700 litres a year (43 × 365). The exact figure depends on humidity and temperature, so use your site’s measured output for CSR or ESG reports.
What will it cost to run for a small office?
VayuJal Home uses 0.40 kWh per litre at 80% humidity and 0.42 kWh per litre at 70% humidity, both at 30 °C. At ₹6 per unit of electricity, that is about ₹2.4 to ₹2.5 of electricity per litre. At its rated 43 litres a day it uses about 17 kWh a day.
What power supply and space does it need?
It runs on a standard 230 V single-phase, 50 Hz supply with a rated power of 0.7 kW, so no three-phase connection is needed. It measures 45 × 55 × 85 cm, weighs 65 kg and has a sound level below 60 dB.
How much water does it store?
VayuJal Home has a 16-litre internal storage tank, built in, so a small office needs no separate tank for everyday use.
When should we choose VayuJal Plus instead?
Choose VayuJal Plus when more than 10 people will use the water. It is rated at 165 litres a day and suits small businesses, schools and housing complexes with 10 to 50 members.
